Marketing and Communications Committee

AuSPEN Marketing and Communication Committee was established in 2016 to coordinate and drive AuSPEN’s marketing and communications strategy to ensure the organisation maintains a strong presence on web based interfaces and international social media platforms, ensures members and partnering professional bodies are kept up to date with AuSPEN’s upcoming events, professional development opportunities, clinical practice resources and research opportunities, and allows the organisation to grow and be recognised for innovation and leadership in parenteral and enteral nutrition.

 

Aims / function of committee

To ensure AuSPEN has strong multidisciplinary focused marketing and communications strategy using web-based interfaces, social media, and links with professional organisations.

 

Goals

  • To ensure AuSPEN has up to date & user friendly website
  • To ensure information on AuSPEN website is up to date and reflects the activities and strategic plans of AuSPEN
  • To ensure AuSPEN utilises social media platforms to advertise and promote organisation activities and resources, promotes links to other organisations including ESPEN
  • To ensure AuSPEN has strong relationships with sister organisations and multidisciplinary professional bodies, promotes marketing
  • To ensure sponsors of AuSPEN activities are promoted on the website
  • To ensure greater engagement of members so AuSPEN remains an Australasian leader in clinical practice, research and innovation of parenteral and enteral nutrition practice
